I have a question.. What if we don’t live in Colorado but we’re planning on moving there sometime relatively soon?
November 14, 2009 at 11:03 am
Hi Julia. Thanks for the question. I suppose it depends on how soon you are moving to Colorado and if you will be close enough to come to the Englewood Public Library to pick up your prize if you win. The contest ends November 30 and I will award prizes in December. If you won’t be around by the end of January then I wouldn’t enter the contest. Hope that helps!

I plan on moving to the Parker area the third or fourth week of December, during Winter Break. Would that be okay?

Julia, the timeline is fine with me, but again, it depends on whether you’ll be able to come to Englewood and visit the library to pick up your prize if you win. Look at a Colorado map or use Google to see if it’ll be too far for you. Thanks.

Do the characters I use have to be from the book Twilight or could they be from any book?
November 23, 2009 at 2:44 pm
The major characters do have to be from the Twilight books. You can include characters from other books if you want, however. It is the second rule listed above:
All ships, all characters, all categories (AU, crossover, gen) are welcome. As this is a Twilight contest, characters from Twilight must play a major part in the story.

Tyler, I haven’t gotten very many entries yet, so I am going to extend the contest to January 4. I will let you know how the judging goes sometime after that date. Thanks so much for your entry!

I was just wondering the status of when the contest winners will be announced???

Maddy, we’re working on it. I’ve sent the entries to the other judges and we’ll get together soon to decide on the first, second, and third place winners. We will be done by the end of January at the latest, but I plan on it being much sooner then that – it just depends on when we can all meet.
